F5 and F6 Keys?

I believe those keys are used to adjust keyboard back lighting on the 2.4 and MacBook Pro models.
Not available on the 2.0 MacBook.

Nope, it doesn't.

I can assign F6 to Spaces for instance... but it will only bring up Spaces when i press Fn and F6, which extremely annoying. All the other function keys like volume up & down etc. work with no problem.

It's they're rubbing it in our faces that our keyboards aren't backlit... 😉

I don't know about that, I remember from the Napa revision Macbooks you could program them but I can't try it since I do have the 2.4 GHz Macbook lol.

I know it isn't helpful, but keep playing with the settings.

Isn't F6 key supposed to be used as a Verr Num key ? On my Mac Book with Mac Os X 5,5 neither F5 nor F6 key functions. Very annoying not to have a verr num key to use numbers.
Can anybody help me with that?
