Text on Screen (subtitle)

First off, I've always added subtitles through DVD Studio Pro using a text file with a TC and text (i.e. 01:20:02:27 , 01:21:02:27 , Hello!) and have never tried adding text via FCP except for short lines (in other words not as a subtitle), however, a client wants the text files to be embeded (burned on) to the movie itself....well I know how to add the text, but I was wondering if there's any easy way of doing it via FCP, especially, can I somehow import the text file with the TCIN / TCOUT on it?

TitleExchange is a versatile application from Spherico that can probably do the job:

Here's a short video tutorial describing going from FCP to DVDSP,
which is not what you want to do, but it might be informative:

You can try TitleExchange for free for 30 days; after that it costs €135.

Hmm, let me try to re-explain.

I already have a subtitle file in text format that looks like:
*$FontName = Helvetica*
*$FontSize = 21*
*$Bold = 1*
*$HorzAlight = Center*
*$FadeIn = 5*
*$FadeOut = 7*

*01:00:38;00 , 01:00:41;07 , Hello Mister.*
*01:00:42;04 , 01:00:43;24 , Hello Miss.*

I used the above for DVD Studio Pro, however, this time, I need to Hard Subtitle it for non-dvd use, like the internet streaming; in other words I would need to use Final Cut Pro for this.

Currently, the only way I know of is by choosing Video Generators >> Text >> (whatever I need to use), Copy and Paste the TCIN (from above) so the timeline moves, put the text asset in so it clips onto it, Copy and Paste the TCOUT to make a cut of the txt assest (or extend), put the text in, and manually changing the position to center and bottom above the the title safe. By doing this method, I'm estimating that it will take me at least a day for a 30 minute clip since it's one click at a time....well, is there any other way of doing this? a much quicker way.
