Flip for mac

Sorry to put it here but not sure where else to ask.

I have just put a clean instal on my mac and went to install flip for mac. Its launched the installer then gets to a bit where it says "please insert the '<my home folder>' disk to continue installation You have chosen to install software that requires this disk"

Where homefolder is my name.

Obviously its got caught in a Microsoft Feeback Loop (MFL) and I don't know what to do?

Repair Permissions, and try again.

there is a workaround for this, apparently its something to do with file vault.

Open disk utility and create a disk image called the name flip for installer is asking for, as soon as it mounts on the desktop the install will complete.
