iTunes keeps asking me to authorize my computer

Most of the time when I want to play a song, iTunes asks me to authorize my computer by inputting my password. If I do that I get a message saying that my computer is already authorized. However, even if I click on the song again, iTunes asks again to authorize my computer. It's not only songs in my library but also songs in the iTunes store that I'm having trouble with. Sometimes I can get the songs to work, but most of the time it just keeps asking me for authorization.
Anyone know what's going on?

Problem fixed! Try this:

Sign out of your account by clicking on "Store" from the very top menu in iTunes, then selecting "Sign Out". Once you are signed out, click "Store" again and select "Deauthorize Computer". Once you have deauthorized, you'll need to completely quit out of the iTunes program. Then, re-open iTunes and authorize by clicking "Store" and selecting "Authorize Computer".
