Can Compressor rip from a DVD

I'm just starting to use Compressor. I have some very specific formats I need to use for a video server we have. I can convert movies I made from Final Cut Pro ok, but I have some videos on DVD that I would also like to convert. It seems to let me convert each VOB file idividually but I need all of them together. I've spent a couple hours trying to find a solution but haven't had any luck. Can Compressor do this or do I need to find another way? My next idea is using MPEG Stramclip and importing it into Final Cut to Export to Compressor, but that would not be ideal.

You need any of several rippers. Most of use MPEG Streamclip. Takes for freakin' ever.

Welcome to the forum!

If Compressor can do it, that would be news to me. MPEG Streamclip has always worked for me, but I try very hard to get the original footage from my clients to work with instead of accepting highly compressed DVD footage as a source. But sometimes that's all they have.
