/library/application support/proapps folder missing?!?!

I am trying to trash the final cut ID to fix another problem where I keep entering the serial number. I know how to solve it, but the folder "proapps" which is where the final cut ID file is kept does not seem to exist on my computer! How can this be? how do I get around this?
