Touch screen on 1 line not working :(

try the usual troubleshooting...turn off & on, reboot, restore...if that doesnt help, a trip to the genius bar @ an apple store is probably needed. there have been several threads regarding this and bring it to a genius bar is usually what is needed to do

The lower half of my touch screen has stopped working also after almost exactly one year of operation... out of warranty and I am finding this is a growing concern for the iPhone touch screen technology. I'm running to the mac store today but hope to find a quick resolution. I haven't dropped the phone or any other trauma to the phone either...

Same thing here. Had my phone since it came out and last week a "stripe" on the touch screen stopped working. Took it to the Apple Storeand spoke with the manger and they told me I had to pay $200 for a replacement or buy a new 3G.

I can't believe it. I did nothing to the phone (never dropped or exposed to water) and now I have a phone that can't even last through it's two year contract.

As long as the iPhone isn't jailbroken you can take it in with no SIM and it shouldn't matter.

Go on Apple's website and call them to see what you need to do.
