Converting rmvb to mp4

Is there any programme which converts rmvb format videos to an Ipod compatible format such as mp4?

iMac 20", Mac OS X (10.5.3)

I've used ffmpegx before but not for this task but it claims to do it:

I wouldn't bet on ffmpeg doing it since it is close to MPEG Streamclip in source code.

ffmpegx is a 'for pay' version of ffmpeg with an improved user interface.

The original poster should Google rmvb to mp4 - many applications are listed.
