Shift Key Keeps Falling Off!

Ive had my macbook around 7 months now and im having problems with the shift key.

About a week ago it fell off without any damage. The hinges underneath the button are neither broken, snapped or damaged. I tried putting the button back, and it 'click' back into place. But when typing, after being pressed once or twice it falls straight off again. As you can imagine, this gets very annoying when you are trying to type large amounts of text and you have to keep fixing the button back on every 10 seconds.

I was thinking about visiting my local genius bar, what do you think they will do about it? Do you think they keep spare buttons in the local store?

Something sounds strange if you say it snaps back together seemingly correctly, but then comes off again.

Why don't you pop off a seldom key such as the tilde key and swap its little plastic pieces with those of the bad shift key, just to see if that will get you buy for the time being. Maybe the parts are not interchangeable between the fore mentioned keys, but there must be some combination that might work.
