Canon Pixma MP620 not online

Canon Pixma MP620 not online

I can print a test page from the printer utility and if I have nothing to print, it shows the printer as online and ready. As soon as I try to print from iphoto or the Canon software, it says the printer is offline and will not print. Does anybody have any idea how to print my photos?

I deleted all the printers showing then added the printer again in system preferences. It's worked but not sure how!

Thanks for this! I had the same issue and removing the printer and adding it again resolved the issue.

I'm experencing the same issue. Using a new MacBook (for Christmas) and of course the Cannon MP620 printer. Unable to get the printer to respond from the MACBook. Able to print test pattersn, etc. with wireless without issues. I'm using a D-Link 655 wireless router. I tried the setup procedure multiple times as well as running the cable from the router to the printer (worth a shot). Still nothing - any ideas?

The reason that it says your printer is off-line is because you have chosen the wrong printer. The first printer displayed in the drop-down menu is the USB connected one. Choose the second one ( displaying its MAC address.
