Boston Acoustic BA7500G speakers

My Boston Acoustic BA7500G speakers and sub woofer simply don't work with my new iMac Intel Duo Core. I'm running Mac OS X 10.5.5. These speakers/subwoofer work fine with my PC. Is there a software issue or upgrade required for my soundcard or operating system?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'll admit I know nothing about this, but until somebody more knowledgeable chimes in have you looked in Finder>Utilities>Audio Midi Setup>Audio Devices? Click on the Help button and maybe there's something there that will help you.
