Bullet Points In Motion

Is Motion able to understand bullets in text? So it can automatically indent the text if there is a bullet?

Also am wondering if I have say 9 points and want each point to have a written on effect, do I need to add the behavior to 9 points separately? Or can I add it to the block of text and say control how it's written on, so write 1st point on, hold for 3 seconds.. then move on to the second point etc...

Mac OS X (10.5.4)

No, Motion is a compositing and animation system. It is neither Powerpoint nor Keynote.
if you need 9 bullets, you will separately create and animate 9 individual text elements. Maybe 18 since you might be crating separate and animatable elements for the bullets.
There may be a way to script Motion to see hard returns or tab delimited text strings and break them up but I doubt it.
Sorry, can't help you with the write-on query.
