I just ripped a number of my CDs using Apple Lossless, but they won't stream over my Apple TV--I just see a yellow triangle with the message "Apple TV Cannot Play the Current Song". They play fine when synced to the unit. Other songs play normally when streamed. I rebuilt the iTunes library, trashed prefs, restarted the Apple TV, reverted the Apple TV to factory defaults and reinstalled the latest software, and re-paired the Apple TV with iTunes, but no joy...
Any suggestions? Thanks.

There's been a similar problem like this posted before. The solution was to do the following:
1. Under Preferences/Advanced/General/Import Settings, I set the default to Apple Lossless.
2. From the existing music files, right click and choose "Create Apple Lossless Version.)
3. Play the new file from AppleTV, and it works!
4. Delete original files.

Although your suggestion worked, I also found another solution. I had been using equinux CoverScout 3.0 to find missing album art for iTunes. That version produced the same problem in the Apple TV (verified with equinux tech support). Updating to CoverScout 3.0.1 fixes the problem.
