As of last night, I cannot connect to the iTunes store. I get a message saying "iTunes cannot connect to the iTunes Store. The network connection timed out". My network and internet are working just fine (all other applications that require internet connect run fine as well). I ran the diagnostic and it says "Secure Link to iTunes Store failed". I have tried everything the help button told me to do and nothing worked. Here's part of the diagnostic report:

I am basicly having the same issue where basicly when ever I am trying to buy something it basicly wont connect to the itunes store. I can browse and look at stuff and even play sample tracks but thats about all I can do. Thing just cant seem to connect to buy stuff.

I am also having this problem. My internet is fine (because I can do everything else that requires it) just not this. What is funny is I just downloaded the music (so I connected fine to do that) and now I can't listen to anything I downloaded because I can't connect to the store to authorize playing the songs on my computer.

Could it be their server that is overloaded?

    I'm getting the same thing.

I haven't changed anything over the last few days and yet all of a sudden tonight it isn't working.

Ditto, I've been trying for the last 12 hours. Even logged out of store and now the store will not let me log back in. Would be nice if Apple had a 'iTMS Status' indicator somewhere on the site...(hint)

    same same same.

What on earth is going on? Won't work from mac or iphone. It says it couldn't complete request and that the connection to the server was reset.

Should we be worried? This is very un-apple like.

same here. i hope it's something apple is already working on - i doubt anyone can afford keeping customers out of their store for too long.

I am having the same problem, but the error message is a bit different:
"We could not complete your iTunes store request. The network connection was reset.
Make sure your network connection is active and try again."
