Lexar JumpDrive Secure II won't mount vaults?

When I migrated from a PowerBook running 10.5.5 to a new MacBookPro my Lexar JumpDrive with Secure II encrypted data vaults would no longer mount the vaults so I could access them. The software would allow me to create new vaults, and change the passwords, but would not mount them.
On a live chat with Lexar support, I followed these steps and the problem was fixed:
Remove the following files to the trash:
HDD-System-Library-Extension- LexarFilterScheme.kext
HDD-System-Library- Extensions.mkext
HDD-Library- Receipts/STUC2.pkg (any STUC.pkg)

empty trash, then restart. Next download a fresh copy of the Secure II software from
http://www.lexar.com/updates/SecureII10.html
"install" it and reboot
That fixed it for me. It's likely not all steps are necessary, but you can't argue with success.

MacBookPro, PowerBook, PowerMacG5, 6400, Twentieth Anniversary Mac, Mac Classic, Mac OS X (10.5.5)
