Can chkdsk in Windows XP damage Mac OS X?

I had inadvertently set off chkdsk.exe in Windows XP via Boot Camp, and it had proceeded to check my Mac OS X hard drive. I had stopped it immediately, but I am concerned. Could I have damaged something?

MacBook Pro 5, 1, late 2008 edition, Mac OS X (10.5.5)

I run MacDrive 7, so Windows XP did have access to Mac OS X.

Would I still be okay?

Yes you will be fine. The Chkdsk command checks the physical status of a HD. It is not going to damage any files it encounters.

Chkdsk runs before Windows (or MacDrive) is running. I'd be more worried about MacDrive.

Paragon Software NTFS 6.5.1.5 was just updated, and allows using Disk Utility to verify and repair Vista and XP NTFS volumes (as well as format partitions to NTFS).
