4000 DPI Mouse... for Mac?

Has anyone used this mouse on a Mac yet? Its 4000 dpi. That should make the cusor move smooth right? I REALLY HATE the way the mouse movement on a Mac is compared to a PC, but I already have a Macbook, so I need a solution to fix it. Is this mouse good?
