Security ID (SID) when joining a Mac to Active Directory

Hi Guys.

I am swapping out a large amount of machines on a Windows domain at the moment. Lots are XP, and a few are Macs (10.5). I am familiar with joining/binding a Mac to the Domain and this isn't necessarily the problem.

Those of you who have 'imaged' a large amount of Windows machines to roll them out across a domain will know that each machine has to have a unique Security ID (SID). On a windows machine I know how to achieve this, but is there such a thing on a Mac or is it called something different?

Thanks in advance,

Dom
