Netflix widget

Three weeks ago, a message reading "Cannot find the cookies needed to log into Netflix. You must use Safari log in to Netflix at least once before using this Widget. Click here to log in now," replaced what was my queue on the face of the Netflix widget. I click and am taken directly to Netflix and when I log out and return to my desktop and the widget, the message returns. I am not computer literate and could really use some advice. Thank you.
