Backlight on Ipod Not working

I have a new ipod with a clicking wheel. My friend thought she would re-charge it by plugging the ipod into a playstation 3 USB port. I had to restore my ipod after that. It is working alright, except there is no light. Is there anyway to get it back on? I even used the settings, but no luck.
