Time Capsule not detected in Finder

My Time Capsule is networked using an ethernet cable to the router with the wireless mode disabled. AirPort Utility does not show any problems with the connections and I previously did not have any problems. However, Time Capsule is now not detected in the Shared locations in the Finder window.

This problem began spontaneously while I was working on some files saved on the TC and I noticed that I was no longer able to save the file due to the loss of connection to the Time Capsule. I checked the connections to the TC using other computers and all seemed to be unable to detect the Time Capsule.

I unplugged the ISP, the router as well as the Time Capsule to renew the IP addresses, but there was no change. I also performed a hard reset on the Time Capsule but it was still undetected by the Finder window, even though AirPort Utility says that it is configured properly and that its status is normal.

Is there any way to obtain my files previously saved on the Time Capsule?

This sounds like it may be related to my issue. We have 5 macs and one new time capsule. Everyone but me is able to backup to the time capsule wirelessly. For me, the TC doesn't show up in my finder as a hard drive - only as a server - (nor is it recognized as in Disk Utility).

Although I can go in and see files that are already on it, I can't back up to it. It keeps asking me for the password over and over. I checked the password in Keychain - and found it listed in there three times - all with the correct password. I'm stumped.

The only difference between my computer and the other four (that I can think of) is that I have backed up my computer to a My Book previously. The others never backed anything up anywhere.

The My Book is not currently hooked up...but I have tried, and found that it still works fine.

Anyone have ideas?

I figured out a way to get my files, but it's a very tricky situation:

My Time Capsule has been appearing in the finder window lately, ONLY if I unplug and plug in the time capsule again before turning on my computer(s). Otherwise all the computers at home do not detect it. However, after several hours working on my macbook, the same problem occurs and all connections to the time capsule are lost.

Does anyone know if there's a way to fix this?
