Connect To Server command is missing from the Go menu in Finder

I recently moved and I am trying to connect to a networked storage drive that is hooked up to a new router. I went to try to "Connect to Server" from the Go menu in Finder and the command is missing. The "Go To Folder" command is the last thing on the list. I tried to customize my finder toolbar to have the "Go To Server" button show. The button appears but it is grayed out and has a question mark on it.

What happened to the FInder? How do I "Connect To Server"? Is it possible my network/sharing preferences are effecting this? I had access to my storage drive before I moved.

Thanks

I customized the toolbar in my finder windows. Finder>View>Customize Toolbar

Then I dragged the "Connect" button in to the toolbar.

I already am showing "Network" in my finder window's sidebar. Unfortunately the storage drive is not showing automatically in the list of available servers.

I tried a Safe Boot, ran disk utility to Repair Permissions, Restarted. That changed nothing. Connect to Server still doesn't show in the Finder's Go Menu, and the "Connect" button on the finder toolbar is still grayed out. I still cannot connect to my storage drive.

Also, when I boot my machine there is an application that runs called "nethdd", then an error message pops up saying, "Could not run this script because of a scripting system (OSA) error. -1752". Could this have anything to do with my problem?

I was able to connect to the drive. I checked the login items in my user preferences and "nethdd" was unchecked. Since I had noticed it failing on start up, I checked it. My network drive immediately appeared in my network window. I don't really know what I did, but my back-ups to the drive are running smoothly. The issue with the "connect to server" menu option has not changed though. Either way, I am connected to what I want to connect to, so I guess I'm happy.
