Resolution Problem with Samsung 226bw

Hi,

I've been using my mac mini with my widescreen samsung lcd for a few months in 1680x1025 resolution.

Today i was using logmein.com (remote desktop service), and had to reboot my mac mini. The mac mini came back in 1600x1200. I figured i'd just come home and reboot the machine with the monitor on and it would set it back. But it hasn't. In fact 1680x1025 isn't even available in my list of resolutions.

I've deleted all the windowserver plist files, i've cleared out my pram, unplugged and plugged in my monitor numerous times, tried safe mode, and yet my mac mini refuses to allow me to use my monitor in 1680x1025.

Does anyone have any ideas what else I can try. I'd really hate to reinstall Mac OS X to fix this ridiculous problem.

Thanks for the help,
Felix
