Return-Path rule problem

Been trying to create a mail rule to deal with some spam. It has to meet all the following conditions:

From contains: mac.com
Return-Path does not contain mac.com

However, it seems to be ignoring the Return-Path (which I added with edit header list). I know that I typed it correctly for when adding new conditions, it showed the message return-path header value.

Did try it with both conditions with the contains clause. This rule still doesn't work, as no message gets selected. It is as if it can't find the value for the return-path

Mac OS X (10.5.5)

It can be hard to tell whether it is the condition or the action that is not working. Try changing the action to a simple "set color of background". Then remove one of the conditions and wait for a message to arrive that should trigger the rule. If it does, edit the rule to the other condition, and wait for a suitable message to arrive. If that also works, put in your two conditions and wait again.

Thanks. I am having the rule change the color. After tweaking with the rule, I apply it on a set of messages that should be affected by the rule. I know exactly what part of the rule is having the problem; the one comparing the header to the Return-Path. Somehow it isn't being used...

Just found that there was a problem with how the header was being stored. Even though it was written Return-Path, somehow it was being stored as Retrun-Path. Did fix it, but wasn't working. Finally went into the Mail folder and manually changed MessageRules.plist.

Seems that Mail is missing a way to delete header listings or at least correct them. Hint, hint Apple.
