photos upload too small on the internet!!!!!

when i upload photos from iphoto onto myspace/facebook the photos upload smaller then they are in iphoto, is there a way i can fix this??

I don't know about the two services you mention but some web site automatically resize your photos so they fit within permissible file sizes.

im not sure of the size restrictions on myspace/facebook, as my friends have larger pictures on their pages compared to mine. if i upload the same pictures from my camera on another computer they are bigger then when i upload from my mac.

How are you sending them to the Site?

Download one from your site, do a get info on it, then do a get info on the same one in iPhoto that you sent.

both sites have a photo uploading tool.

i just downloaded one picture off the site and then match it up with the same one in iphoto, im not sure how to get the info on them though?

there is a huge size difference!!

Do a Get info on the one you downloaded and or move it into iPhoto and do a Get Info on them there, it should give Pixels wide & high.

I think iPhoto is storing or making a 360*240 Thumnail or iPod pic to go with the original & that's what is getting uploaded.

I don't know how it works, but if you could get the big pic say in another APP & save it, send that, I think it would work, like say GraphicConverter...

I'm having the same issues...

I tried uploading a pic directly from iPhoto, and then from a photo on my Desktop. The Desktop photo was a little bigger in Facebook, but still nowhere near the actual size of the picture, and quite a bit smaller than many other pictures on both my photos page and my friends' photo pages.

Does anyone have an answer for this?

Hi, I don't know how to fix iHoto's problem right now, but I bet a workaround would be to get GraphicConverter...

Load that Desktop pic file, save it as another name, upload that new one from GC's save.
