Problem with playhead stopping

I had a problem with the playhead stopping while working on a project (which is completely composed of midi loops). After turning off various tracks and changing or moving loops around, etc., I found that 2 loops (2 measures long each) from 2 different instrument tracks (double bass and bassoon) starting at the same time, caused the playhead to stop one measure before the measure where they lined up. I don't know why this caused a problem as I solved it by just extending the culprit double bass loop to 3 measures long so it didn't start at the same time as the 2-measure bassoon loop. Hope this made sense. Just thought I'd share this.
