How do I stop iCal from deleting past events?

By synching iCal across several computers/devices through MobileMe, iCal has just recently been trying to delete all my past events from 90 days ago. All the preference settings I can find are set to not delete past events. Any help?

iCal deletes all my past events also and yes as the original poster, I too have not checked the preferences box to delete anything. I need to keep my past events. I only sync to my cell phone if that matters. Any and all help would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Bill

yes, this *****. i have lost a lot of my important calendar info from the past that i needed for my records. please Apple, fix this. i also have no delete options checked. is this a problem w/ me.com or w/ the regular prefs? ugh. and is there a way to get them back? i have a time machine backup but am wondering if importing the past ical archive will delete my current ical data...

I have just realised that my problem stemmed from my Blackberry, which had been set to delete events older than 60 days. The changes on my Blackberry were then transferred through to my computer and hence I lost all my iCal events. Now I've set my Blackberry to not delete events, the problem seems to have been solved. See if this helps.
