Checkpoint VPN-1 SecureClient for OS X 10.5 (leopard)-Connection cancelled

Hi All,

I'm a newbie to mac OS, having brought my first macbook pro (late 2008).

I have installed VPN-1 SecureClient R56 for Mac OS X 10.5 and was able to configure it to connect to the gateway and update the information. I get authenticated by the gateway but i then get a message connection cancelled.

I have SecureClient R60 installed on Windows XP (as a dual boot on the same macbook pro) through which I'm able to get connected to my VPN. I've checked and all the configurations seem to be similar.

Could somebody please help me if there's something that might need to be configured/checked more?

Please let me know if any more information needs to be provided

Warm Regards
Narendra

I have been following this thread and got as far as:
...shut down SecureClient (right click on the "key" icon and select "Stop VPN-1 SecureClient"
Open a terminal window on the Mac
cd /opt/CPsrsc-50/database

After this I'm stuck? The prompt line of code being displayed is:

Macintosh:database jim$

I'm stuck here for what to type in next? What do you type to edit the userc.C file?
