How do I get my contacts off of my old BB and onto my new iPhone?

Question

How do I get my contacts off of my old BB and onto my new iPhone?

Alright I have a new iPhone finally.

I have an old BB curve that has all my contacts.

These contacts are not saved to the sim card.

I was told you can do something with outlook or something else that will take all of my contacts names, numbers emails etc out of my BB and allow me to then upload them into my iPhone?

Can someone walk me through the process of this exactly?

iphone syncs with the contact management app on your computer. You can sync you BB to your computer, then when you sync your iphone it will sync with your computer.

Does Blackberry have a support page that may help you get contacts from Blackberry to your computer?

I've never synced my BB.

So I just plug it in and then what?

How do I get it to sync with outlook or whatever so outlook can retreive the contacts?

And what is the contact managment program I have?

YOu mean iTunes will search my computer for my contacts and import them via synching automatically?

I don't know what programs your computer has.

Doesn't Blackberry have a support page that you can look up how to sync it with your computer?

You need to install the BB Desktop Software or Manager, which should be included with a CD provided with your BB purchase.

1. Connect your BlackBerry device to your computer.
2. Open the BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
3. Double-click Synchronize.
4. On the Configuration tab, click Configure synch.
5. Select the Address Book check box.
6. Click Configure > Advanced Settings.
7. Select Outlook as the sync partner.

With Windows XP, the iPhone supports syncing contact info and calendar events with Outlook 2003 or 2007, or the address book used by Outlook Express for contact info, which I believe is called Windows Contacts.

You select a compatible contact management application under the Info tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes.

Alright I did all of that, but I'm not sure if it saved them or not?

When I try to open outlook express, its asking me for a password and I have no idea what it is, I dont use my isp's mail, I use hotmail etc.

Is there any way to get around this or is there another program out there that will do this?
