"Your Session Has Timed Out."

Hello,

I'm having some issues buying music from iTunes. When I want to buy a song, I obviously click it, and then I sign in. Once that is done, it directs me to a new page where I have to agree to Apple's new terms and conditions. I am then directed to a page that says, "Your Session Has Time Out. Please try this operation from the beginning". I click that and it leads me to iTunes home browser, and upon returning there, I redo the process but still get the same session error.

Does this have something to do with my networking? I haven't had these problems before. Is this caused by the new iTunes?

I am having the same problem also! I posted on here about it, but no one has responded with ideas. I called technical support and e-mailed them, the only suggestions they gave was for the to turn off my firewall. But I didn't change anything, so it shouldn't suddenly stop working. Maybe this is just an iTunes issue? But it doesn't even recognize my account anymore, and I cannot log in now.

If you happen to get an answer, will you please let me know what works for you?

Thanks!

When I updated the new iTunes 8, I was getting the same error message. It never happened with the old version. To correct the problem, I updated my internet time (time.windows.com) and then I made sure I was in the correct time zone area. Once I did this, I was able to proceed as usual. Make sure your computer settings for time/date/time zone is set correctly. It might rectify issue.

I went back and tried the time zone thing. It worked for me. The time on my computer was correct, but when I checked the time zone it was for Pacific time not Central. When I changed it to Central I had to change the time on my computer to correspond with Central Standard time. I went in and tried Itunes again and VOILA, it actually worked. I hope this does for the rest of you.
