When i try to redeem an iTunes gift card or make a new iTunes account, it says.

Session Timeout.
Your session has timed out. Please try this operation again from the beginning.

Possible solution:
Thanks to Troy from another related thread. Check to make sure your time zone is correctly set. It doesn't matter if the time is correct, but the wrong time zone will stop access to itunes for some reason.

*Same problem here. I've been unable to connect since the 10th! Yesterday I couldn't even get iforgot to load so I could reset my passoword. It won't even let me view account info. GRRR! Any support personnel out there than can enlighten us? *

It's not your machines... I emailed Apple support and was told the following..

"Since your last email, I have been informed that what you are experiencing is an emerging issue which is causing some of our customers some difficulty.

Rabid, it seems this is an issue which Apple is currently looking into. You will receive an email after the matter has been investigated and further information is available."

When I get another Email from Apple I will let you all know what I hear. Peace.
