iTunes -Attempting to copy to the disk failed. Unknown error occurred(-69)

Hi,

Hope someone can help me out here. I have an iPod classic 80GB and I'm having trouble transferring certain songs from my iTunes account to the iPod. The following message pops up with a red cirle with a white cross in the middle - iTunes -Attempting to copy to the disk failed. Unknown error occurred(-69).

Is this a problem with my iPod or with the actual computer. I'm using a Dell laptop if that makes any difference.

Thanks

Will any songs transfer? I've had the same problem on two ipods and tried everything in the support article but nothing worked, however, I found that if I unchecked the next file to be downloaded, it would continue. For example, if I looked at the ipod directory and it stopped at song #25, i could fix it by unchecking song #26 in my iTunes library. So far I've found about 4 files causing this problem.

The songs play fine in iTunes and on my Win mobile device. Maybe its a DRM issue?

This happened to me as well. Except, I had saved my iTunes library onto two DVD-Rs because I was going to fully restore my laptop. After I restored my laptop, I went to upload my library, and after about a few minutes I recieved the same error message:
"Attempting to copy the disk failed. An unknown error occurred (-69)."
But I inserted my second disk of my library and it worked completely fine with no problems.
I don't know what to do, especially since I don't have my old files because I restored my laptop.

Is there anyway I can just tranfer the songs on my iPod onto iTunes?
