Possible to use a "named anchor" in a Pages 08 hyperlink?

It is easy to define a hyperlink to a web page in Pages 08, using the Link dialog in the inspector. However, it does not correctly translate a link containing a "named anchor" to a specific point on the page, e.g. www.apple.com/some_page.html#anchor. Somehow the "#" character gets changed to "%23", and the link therefore points to "not found". I've tried various quotes around it but still no-go. Any way to do this?

Note that if the whole URL (including #anchor), is typed into Pages text and made a hyperlink, it works. What does not work is when some other (descriptive) text is made a hyperlink with the URL and #anchor put in the inspector Link dialog.

Thanks!

Here's a workaround:
1. Make a dummy hyperlink in the Pages file, where you want the real link to go.
2. Export the file as rtf.
3. Open the resulting rtf file in TextEdit (the default). Note that links are active and highlighted in this file.
4. Right-click the link, get the pulldown menu and select "Edit link".
5. Choose the correct destination in the popup "Link Destination" window, including #anchor_name. Save and close the rtf file.
6. In the Finder, find the rtf file and open it in Pages.
Et voila! The correct link is there! Note that the correct definition is now preserved in Saving the Pages file, and in Exporting to pdf. Just don't try to re-edit that link in Pages.
