DVD and DVD case design templates

Hi there -

I'm looking for some downloadable design templates for DVDs (I have Taiyo Yuden watershield inkjet printable DVDs - again, not labels but printing ON the DVDs) and DVD case inserts. I have Epson DVD Print software, so I don't need software to print - just looking for some already existing design templates that I could download (ideally free), purchase, or find some someone might be willing to share.

And, then I need to print a custom DVD case insert very quickly today - just looking for a template where I can drop a few photos from the project in (I'm afraid I don't have a lot of time to create a custom design in Photoshop).

If someone can point me in a good direction, I appreciate the help! thanks -

Hi there -

Thanks for the reply! Yes, I downloaded trial of Discus and UncoverIt - but I find the former a little pricey considering I have no problem with Epson's printing software, so UncoverIt - if it solves my DVD case insert problem, may be the less expensive way to go. And, I was hoping for free so thanks for pointing out at least one! So wish there was some grand repository of the thousands of DVD designs people have made - I'd even pay some cents for them!

Sounds like a great project or web site to build / start. Who knows? .... Might even be profitable!

I actually would love it on about a thousand fronts - DVD designs, idVD templates, general photoshop designs for media-oriented projects. It's the iTunes of design - sigh, and non-existant! 😟

p.s. Forgot to add that sadly, I don't have iWorks programs per the other thread. Went with bad 'ol Microsoft for the office programs.

That's what I love about macs ..... it's so easy to be very creative when one applies themselves. Now if you are looking for this item on the web, I wonder how many others are also looking for the very same design or may have a need for this kind of design/s in the near future?

I would think a ton - iWeb or iDVD templates are a great example. I can't believe there is really only one company that has an extensive offering of iDVD templates (ThemePak) and I find them overthe top and way too expensive. But, I know you can make your own, so I wish there was a consumer gallery where you could see and pick others and pay them $0.99 per template - or per DVD design, etc. I would love it!

Old Toad (hi there if you're here today) showed me his designs once in a screen grab - I would pay to use them in a heartbeat - name your price! I loved the design / layout and am struggling to recreate when all I really want to do is change fonts and colors.

They are awesome! I was hoping I could find/download/purchase templates like that somewhere but it's not so easy. I know he used Discus but when I'm using trial, it's a lot of work to go from there to here (meaning his)!
