Missing Genius playlists

Hey all
My MacBookPro keeps deleting my Genius lists from the computer, while they remain on my iPhone 3G. I don't know why I have to repeatedly restart Genius from the beginning reactivating it on my Mac. How do I import the playlists back from my iPhone so I don't have to recreate them each time. All my playlists remain on my iPhone; both my Mac and iPhone have all my music. Ideas?
