Glass Panes Template in 16x9?

Does FCP have templates in 16x9? Right now I'm using a 4x3 Glass Panes template, but now need it in 16x9?

I don't know what "the nightmare of 16x9, framed for 4x3" means.

However, the template is 4:3 and you want 16:9. You either resize each of the components, or resize an exported QT movie created with the template in Motion and then scale it in FCP.

It will be distorted. But it faster than resizing each of the elements.

But you can't just convert the template to 16:9 because it's a template. You need to recreate it at 16:9 or use something else.

This is an issue you will find with a number of the templates, NTSC, PAL, HD etc. Find the template you want, open it in Motion, change the project settings to match your requirements, resize all of the motion elements to fit the new project settings and framing, most are vector objects or at the least the slight scaling will typically not be an issue. Once complete save the project as a new template within a template folder relevant to either the project or template. this folder will then appear in your masters area of FCP and continue to be available to you for all future projects.

But enough from me, there is a tutorial on the apple site that covers this

http://www.apple.com/finalcutstudio/tutorials/

and select the creating titles and templates button below motion.
