How to enable dhcp server on my mac

I am using OSX10.5 and I am wondering if there is some way to enable it to be a dhcp server for other devices on my home network?

Do you have a hardware router? If so the router handles DHCP serving. If you don't have a router but connect directly to a cable or DSL modem, then you can use Internet Sharing. Select Mac Help from the Finder's Help menu and search for "internet sharing" without quotes. You will find an article that tells you how to set that up on your computer.
