Hey Vinny,

The important thing to understand is that a .mov is a file
and a .img is like a disk. Actually, the .img denotes a disk image,
which is kind of like a virtual disk.

Whether you record your movie on a real disk or a virtual disk
doesn't matter much in this case. More important is how you
store your movie ON that disk. In other words, if you make a .mov,
it's important to choose the right settings. Once you do that,
it can be included in a disk image (.img), which you can burn
in Disk Utility or Toast, whatever.

You should also know that titles can be tricky. Make sure they are
big enough, progressive, no serifs--all things that will make them
easier to encode.

Speaking of encoding, DVDs use .m2v format, which is then used
by iMovie or DVD Studio Pro to make a disk image (.img),
which you can then burn to a DVD.

I realize it's all a bit confusing, but take your time and keep working
at it, and you'll figure it all out.
