Hi,

You can find a copy of iPhone warranty online here: http://www.apple.com/legal/warranty/iphone/

If you believe the iPhone was sent back to you incorrectly call AppleCare or have a Genius at a local Apple retail store take a look at it.

To have a Genius at a local Apple retail store take a look at it, make a reservation online here:
http://www.apple.com/retail/geniusbar/
You can contact AppleCare here: U.S. iPhone technical support: 1-800-MY-IPHONE (1-800-694-7466)

Have you tried going to the store and explaining to someone what has happenned?

My screen was leaking inside, and I got a replacement phone, 11 and a half months after purchase as well!

My phone had plenty of scratches on it, I just explained that it had taken the occasional knock, but that the fault had developed on it's own, and they replaced it without any bother.
