Mail in my sent box that I DID NOT send

This is really strange and confusing.....
First a little backround.. I previously worked for a company ( i left a month ago)
at work i worked on a MACbook pro laptop which is also the computer i have at home.
i was given a work email address and used the Mail application for all work emails.

occasionally i would check my personal email, which is a .mac account, using the mac.com site on the internet.
i never set up my personal account in the Mail application on my work laptop, only logged in once in awhile on the internet, not saving my password.

So here is the problem...I was in my personal email account ( .mac account) and on my personal computer, and while trying to email some photos. I checked my SENT box and discovered 13 emails sent to my old boss from the company, sent three days prior. These are photos I HAVE NEVER SEEN i did not take these photos and they are not in my computer, they are even from another country (which the employees from the company travel to and two of them are there now) I didn't send these photos and I didn't even have my bosses Email Address in My Address book at home... so I am trying to find out how these photos could have gotten sent from my account!
I also found that all of my emails had been deleted from my mailbox the day before the emails were sent... i never figured out how they all got deleted and figured that my mailbox was still full.

another thing is i think the laptop is being used now by another employee who i happen to know has their own personal .mac account and MAY use the laptop to login to his own account, this person wouldnt know my personal email.

my own analysis??
IS IT POSSIBLE THAT ONCE I LEFT MY JOB THEY WENT ON THE LAPTOP AND ERASED MY COMPANY EMAIL AND THE COMPUTER SENSED THAT THERE WAS A .MAC ACCOUNT PREVIOUSLY SIGNED INTO ONLINE AND IT SET UP THE ACCOUNT AUTOMATICALLY?

OR POSSIBLE THAT EVEN THOUGH A DIFFERENT PERSON IS LOGGING INTO MAC.COM WITH THEIR ADDRESS THE COMPUTER IS REMEMBERING MY OLD ACCOUNT?
THIS IS THE ONLY THING I CAN THINK OF.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!! User uploaded file
im going crazy trying to figure this out.

Your first theory may be correct.
If you haven't already, change your password on your .mac account. That will stop any further action by the other fellow. Even if you can't tease out the detail of what happened exactly, you can at least fix the problem with the password change.

Also if you left on good terms, contact the new owner of the workMac and ask if s/he used your .mac account.
