iphone in israel

hi,
is there a reason to why there's no iphone in israel?
when will it be available in israel?

if i have an iphone, sim free, from france - if i bring it to israel on my vacation - will it still be insured (is there an apple store in israel that can help me with that)?

Probably because Apple has yet to be able to secure a deal with a local Israeli carrier

Unless Apple makes a formal announcement, we have no way of knowing that

No. Support only is available in the country you purchased it even if it is unlocked.

Until Apple and a cell phone company in Israel make a deal, Apple cannot release the phone in your country.

If you have a problem with a French phone, it would need to go back to France for service.

As far as rumors are going, iDigital, the official Apple rep. in Israel, are prospecting iPhone in Israel soon. No one knows when soon would be.

A french free sim iphone will work perfectly with any Israeli sim card.
