iMac Overclocking

I'm kind of a bit of a n00b here, but I've installed Windows Vista Home Premium on my iMac (mid 2007), and I'd really like to overclock the CPU, GPU, and if possible, the VRAM. I wouldn't go that far above stock clocks because the iMac's cooling system is nothing special (maybe 2.1GHz CPU, 700MHz GPU...). Incase you want to know, this iMac's HD 2400 XT GPU is default 650MHz, and the CPU is 2.0GHz.
Will this affect the Mac OS X partition in any negative way? Make it unbootable?

Can I even do this? Will the mac support it? How far can I take those components? Will the micro fan in the back be enough? I know I can't overclock the system RAM, the memory bus is 667MHz and so is the memory itself.

And if anyone knows of a good overclocking tool and overclocking the iMac is OK, or just knows a lot about overclocking, please let me know. I've never overclocked before.

Anything is appreciated. Thanks.

I wouldn't start with an iMac... 😉

I'm sure it's possible, but you are talking about a 5% increase in clock speed, and even less in realized speed increase. And it will probably void the warranty. An iMac is optimized to run as configured.

But if you really want to know more, you will find out more by doing a Google search on "overclock intel mac" than on the Apple-run user discussion forum.
