Anyone tried Matrox TripleHead2Go Digital Edition with newest MacbookPro?

You would need the duallink dvi adaptor, which I don't have yet.

Does anyone know what resolutions will work?

On the older (8600M) Macbook Pro, the DualHead2Go would support 2 x 1920x1200 displays. But, the newest Macbook Pro will not support this over VGA at least. The DualHead2Go (both analog and digital editions) takes VGA in.

The TripleHead2Go Digital Edition takes Dual-Link DVI input; has anyone tried this with the newest MBPro?

I am missing using my dual external displays!

Unfortunately, the video card in the new MacBook Pro is not supported by the TripleHead2Go Digital Edition. Also as unfortunate is the fact that Matrox says nothing about it on their web site. Apparently, I was the guinea pig on this one. I did a pretty thorough search before I purchased the unit but found nothing anywhere confirming whether or not it would work. When I hooked it up, I only got a signal out to one monitor. I contacted Matrox tech support and several days later found out the bad news. (It appears that Matrox is limited to one email per day per tech support issue...) Needless to say, I am a little bitter.

Here's my most recent message from Matrox tech support on the issue:

"At the present time we don’t have a solution and can’t guarantee when there will be one if any. We are working as quickly as possible to try to resolve this issue but we can’t provide a time frame either."

The next trick will be returning the product...
