Keyboard keys at angle - defective out of box?!

Hey - got a new macbook and I love it.

One issue I have notice, the F2 through F5 keys are angled downwards to the left, they don't sit flush like the rest of the keys. Something is definitely out of line here.

Anyone else have this problem? What should I do? I do not have an apple store where I live to go to unfortunately 😟

Stick a fingernail/piece of paper/plastic or whatever under the "low" end of the affected key. Lift the low end slightly while lightly pressing on the other end. "Lightly" means enough to get some leverage, but not depress and activate the key. You'll hear a very slight soft "plastic" click and the key should now be flat. If the key is not tilted, no "click".

It's an annoying little QA problem, but one I'd rather fix myself than the hassle of an Apple Store return.

Thanks for the heads up guys - guess it is comforting knowing I am not the only one with this issue. I had tried to realign them before learning that other people have had success doing so. However, I can't get my to go flat and they are at a pretty steep angle. Going to give customer support a call tomorrow and see what we can figure out.

Cheers -
