Automator Workflow Excel

Hi,

I am a complete newbie to automator and am trying to make a workflow for "wrap text" action in Excel by recording mouse actions. I did the following:
I opened Automator and chose "Custom Workflow" and then recorded the following actions (the following is what shows up in the automator "Watch Me Do" window):

Click the "Format" menu
Cells...
Click the "Alignment" tab
Click the "Wrap text checkbox"
Click the "OK" button

I then recorded this as a workflow in the appropriate folder Users/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Excel Script Menu Items

The problem is that when I select this workflow from the menu nothing happens. The focus goes away from the Excel file and there is a rotating gear icon in the status bar which keeps rotating. If I add the action, "select Excel from the Dock" to the top of the above workflow, then the focus goes away from excel, after sometime the mouse pointer moves to the excel icon on the dock and then the process stops. Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong.

Thanks.
