15GB IPOD is no good?

I just returned my 3rd 15 GB 3rd Generation Ipod to apple because it was getting really hot in addition to the very short battery life just as the other two ipods i had returned for the last 2 months. And i was wondering if there is any chance i could trade it with 4th generation Ipod, even if I have to pay extra i`ll pay but of course reasonable amount though....... let me know!!!!
