iPhone Update Error 2002

Hi to all. I'm new to this forum.
I get this problem every time I update my iPhone 3G.
In iTunes I download the update and then I install it.
But after the software is extracted and the iPhone is prepared to be updated, it gives me an error.
Then I have to restore the iPhone (which takes a lot of minutes...) and then to resync everything...
