App Store Updates Not Working

I am not sure if I noted this just before or only after the 2.2 update, but now when I launch the app store application - I can see the featured, et al, but when I selected the Updates category - it just gives me the spinning loading icon with the word "Loading" - and I never get the final screen that there are app updates or that everything is up to date; has anyone else had this problem and found a cure? Thanks
