Changing the location of iTunes Mobile Applications folder

Hi,
I have a new iPod Touch 2G and the latest version of iTunes from 1 month ago (I believe it's version 8.0).
Today windows prompted me with a strange message saying that my C: drive is running low on space. So I searched for the source of the problem and found that all the applications that I downloaded from the iTunes store are saved on my C: drive.
For the last half hour I've been searching for a way to change the path location of the Mobile Applications folder, but without any luck.

Is there a way to tell iTunes to save the downloaded applications in a different location (on a different drive)? And if so, how is it done?

Thanks, Malki.

iTunes downloads Mobile Applications to wherever you're running your ITL library file.

For example, my library ITL file is on my external drive K: where all my music files also are. That is also where the Mobile Applications folder is.

So with iTunes closed, make a copy of your ITL file and put it on a different drive. Press *and hold* the shift key while opening itunes. Then download a free app to test it.
