Sustain pedal not recording

Sustain pedal not recording

Sometimes Logic records my sustain pedal on my keyboard, and sometimes it doesn't. Does anyone know what is going wrong? Thanks for any advice.

Mac book Pro, Mac OS X (10.4.5), 1.83 GHz, Motu Traveler, Logic Pro 7.2

Hi,
this is not possible!
Are you talking about issue on the same song project or it comes only in a specific song?

Check for the project setting. MIDI filter (Control change)

if not,
try to delete Logic preferences... and also check for the Sustain Pedal cable connector!

We'll this IS possible. I'm having the same problem and it's not the sustain pedal. I'm hearing sustain when recording, but not always when playing back. The only audio I'm hearing is LOGIC (not the piano itself) Maybe someone can answer this who doesn't assume stupidity. Thanks
